Cher Francis, Votre hôtel nous a comblés au-delà de toutes nos attentes. Il nous a vraiment permis d'atteindre les objectifs de notre retraite de Comité: le travail dans la convivialité et dans un cadre inspirant et régénérateur. Merci pour l'accueil et la bonne atmosphère, Et merci de nous avoir régalés. Le chambres sont parfaites. La décoration et l'aménagement que vous avez apportés à cet ancien hôtel nous ont enchantés, étant juste surpassés par la décoration de Dame Nature. A bientôt Jean-Paul Guisan

We stumbled upon the Hotel du Pillon on 5 July, 2008, but unfortunately could only stay the one wonderful night. Like others, we felt as though we were guest's in Francis' home rather than being in a hotel. Although we are from the other side of the world, if at all possible, we will return for a longer visit. Many thanks.

A very comfortable stay in June, thank you very much. Francis is an excellent host !! We enjoyed wonderful sunny days and saw some good football also. We will return again shortly !!

A message in Swedish. Ett mycket trevligt hotell med en familjär och gemytlig känsla. Vi fick en enormt god ostfondue, som jag delvis själv fick tillreda. Lite vid sidan om byn. knappt 15 min promenad, vilket gjorde att det var lungt och behagligt att bo hos Francis. Tack Merci beaucoup pour le jour avec vous.

My family and I stayed at Hotel du Pillon for 2 days. It was a very beautiful Hotel, whit lot of beautiful old furniture’s. We didn´t feel like we stayed in a Hotel, but more like we where guest in the house. We felt right away like home. It was very funny that we could see what was going on in the charming kitchen from the restaurant. The hotel manager and his wife were very kind and helpful and interesting to talk to. We would diffently like to come back at the Hotel for another time.

I came to Les Diablerets from Geneva looking for a relaxing, quiet weekend away, and I was not disappointed! The town is beautiful, and the views while hiking are stunning. I highly recommend Hotel du Pillon. It's a lovely building, with what are possibly the world's most comfortable beds, and Francis is a warm and gracious host (not to mention an excellent cook). I had a wonderful time.

Last fall when i travelled to Les Diablerets I did so by "the cute little fairy tale train". I had spent some time In L.D 43 years earlier and wanted to revisit it. It was late in the season and because of that some of the hotels in the village were closed. However I was very lucky that Hotel du Pillon was open. I spent three night there and it was a very comfortable place to come back to after my days of hiking in the mountains. The hotel is a kilometer or two from the village but the walk there is easy and enjoyable. Hotel Du Pillon is a hotel that I would not hesitate to go back to. I highly recommend it.

This is a good and warm welcome hotel. It is clean and in french style. The hotel is within walking distance to shops and restarurant. The hotel has a large nicely decorated living room with TV facilitiies to use. We stayed here for one night and had a good night sleep, and can see the moutain through the window. Also a 14-15 year old cat is lovely. We strongly recommend this hotel.

Salut, Altitude 373.45 mètres-sur-mer, Cité de Calvin, quartier de la Jonction, toits fumants comme devait fumer le salon de l'hôtel au siècle passé. Un grand merci pour l'accueil et la qualité, incontestablement number one de ce que j'ai connu jusque là. C'est comme au foot, des bons amateurs peuvent largement battre une équipe de pro. Alors bon courage pour la suite, et sûrement à dans quelques temps, je pense que cet été on y refera un petit tour. Amicalement. Hotel superbe, accueil très convivial et non formel, une situation de rêve avec le glacier devant les yeux. Tout est harmonie. Un vrai cocon dans les montagnes suisses. Fondue délicieuse. I will be back soon.
